Sarajevo carries a minimal advantage to Romania, the Maroon team dominated Craiova at Košev

(Patria) - Football Club Sarajevo tonight, in the first match of the second qualifying round of the Conference League at the largely filled "Asim Ferhatović Hase" stadium, defeated the Romanian team Universitatea Craiova with a score of 2:1.

Despite the triumph, the Maroon team can certainly regret a large number of missed opportunities, writes Faktor.

Sarajevo started fiercely, threatened from the first minute, and took the lead in the tenth. Oliveira set up Kyeremeh, who finished the job in the best possible way.

Two minutes later, Guliashvili threatened, but the score remained 1:0. In the 20th minute, it was 2:0. Mlinarić did a great job, and then Guliashvili masterfully scored with a volley.

In the 33rd minute, a great chance for the visitors, but Ristovski stopped Baiaram at the last moment.

Sarajevo continued in the same rhythm in the second half. Already in the 47th minute, a chance for Oliveira, but Isenko saved.

The hosts could have scored a third goal in the 60th minute, but the visitors somehow managed to survive after Mlinarić's attempt, after which Kyeremeh was also in a great position.

When Sarajevo failed to capitalize on their chances, the visitors punished them. Romanchuk shot powerfully in the 70th minute and found the net of Sarajevo's goal for 2:1.

The visitors had a great chance to equalize in stoppage time, but the score remained 2:1, and an interesting return match is certainly expected in seven days.

Sarajevo showed much more and deserved a more convincing victory, but football is not always fair. The match at the largest Bosnian stadium was attended by just over 20,000 spectators.
