Sarajevo celebrates a goal-fest victory over Radnik in Bijeljina

(Patria) - Football club Sarajevo defeated Radnik today at the City Stadium in Bijeljina with a score of 3:2.

It was the second match of the 16th round of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in which the guests from the capital ultimately justified their role as favorites and took home the full spoils.

Sarajevo had a great chance in the third minute through Turkeš, but it was blocked. After that, Mustafić also threatened, but goalkeeper Lakić made a great save.

Radnik punished that in the 18th minute. Mehanović shot, and Albijanić put his foot in, changing the direction of the ball, bringing the home team into the lead, reports Faktor.ba.



Silva then threatened spectacularly, but it remained 1:0. In the 34th minute, Sarajevo equalized. Mujkić delivered a great cross, Gavrić deflected the ball to Turkeš, who had an easier task.

Sarajevo took the lead before the break. Čelik laid it off for Bubanja, who scored from a scramble to make it 2:1.

The maroon team took a 3:1 lead in the 60th minute. Energetic Turkeš laid the ball off for Guliashvili, who scored confidently.

In the very next attack, it could have been 3:2, but young Nermin Mujkić cleared off the line and saved his team.



In the 66th minute, hope returned for Radnik. Jovanović, after a counterattack, went one-on-one with Rogić and scored to make it 2:3.

Radnik then went all out, but failed to find an equalizer. Until the end of the match, the home team's net shook once more, but Kyeremeh's goal in the second minute of stoppage time was disallowed for offside.

Sarajevo earned three points and now has 37 points, while Radnik has 16.
