Sarajevo defeats Sloga and maintains undefeated status this season

(Patria) - FK Sarajevo defeated Sloga Meridian 2-0 at home in the 13th round of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, continuing their impressive undefeated streak this season.

In the first half, Sarajevo had the initiative and more of the game, creating several good chances. In the 23rd minute, Pavičić had an opportunity from 12 yards, but his shot was not accurate. Although the visitors from Sloga had a few attempts from counter-attacks, the home team dominated the field. In the 30th minute, Sarajevo took a deserved lead after an own goal by Batar, which was recognized as valid after a VAR check. In the 32nd minute, Sarajevo had a chance to increase their lead, but the penalty was not converted. However, the home team controlled the game until the end of the first half and went into halftime with a minimal lead.

In the second half, Sloga tried to respond, but Sarajevo was solid in defense and created several dangerous chances. In the 55th minute, Jović crossed, and Đekić headed the ball wide of the post. The game moved to Sloga's half, and Sarajevo continued to press. In the 81st minute, Mustafić increased the lead to 2-0, after Soldo perfectly set up Mustafić, who scored from 18 yards.

In the final minutes of the match, Sloga failed to create a serious threat, while the home team maintained control of the game and deservedly secured three points. Sarajevo thus remains at the top of the table, undefeated this season, alongside leader Zrinjski.
