Sarajevo seeks way out of crisis in front of empty stands

(Patria) - In the 22nd round of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, three matches are scheduled today in three different time slots, reports SCsport.ba.

The first match kicks off at 1:00 PM in Čitluk - Široki Brijeg will host Sloga Meridian at the alternate pitch.

Four days ago, Široki played a quarterfinal match of the BiH Cup, where they defeated Velež 2:1.

Sloga Meridian is certainly one of the surprises of this season. In their last match, they drew with the current BiH champion Zrinjski.

The second match is scheduled for 4:00 PM - GOŠK Gabela welcomes Posušje at the "Perica Pero Pavlović" stadium.

GOŠK has lost its last two matches, conceding seven goals and scoring two. This will be a real test for still-new coach Admir Adžem, given that he has only led GOŠK in three matches.

On the other hand, Posušje is the team that has started the spring part of the season best - five matches, five wins. The team led by coach Denis Ćorić has not conceded a single goal in three league matches of the spring part of the season and certainly does not go to Gabela waving a white flag.

Sarajevo will host Igman Konjic at 6:30 PM at an empty Koševo. Due to the unrest at Koševo during the match against Široki Brijeg, Sarajevo was punished with one match behind closed doors.

Considering the last five rounds, Sarajevo is in the worst form in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina - they have won only three points with a goal difference of 4:9, which certainly does not please the fans of the burgundy club.

In their last match, they were defeated at Grbavica 3:0, where they appeared completely harmless.

In recent days, it has been speculated that the coach has received support from Ismir Mirvić, who believes that good results can be achieved until the end of the season and their goals can be fulfilled.

Igman Konjic arrives at Koševo on the wings of a victory in their last match against Široki Brijeg.

Sarajevo and Igman have played seven official matches - the burgundy team has won five, and Igman two. In the last match at Koševo played last season, Igman was better with a 4:2 result.
