Sarajevo opened the new season with a victory over Sloboda, police dog caused a match interruption

(Patria) - The match between FK Sarajevo and Sloboda in the new season of the WWIN league was played at the Asim Ferhatović Hase stadium, with the home team winning 3:1.

In the second half, the '12th player' entered the field, causing the match to be interrupted for about five minutes. A police dog was running around the field and ignored the commands of the police officer, returning to the field several times.

The first serious chance was seen in the tenth minute when Đorđević shot directly from a free kick from the left side, but the Sloboda goalkeeper reacted well and cleared the ball for a corner.

The Sloboda players followed up with two corners, but there was no significant danger to Sarajevo's goal after them.

In the 20th minute, after Osmanković was fouled by Jović, who was sanctioned with a yellow card, in the penalty area of the home team, VAR intervened and a penalty was awarded to Sloboda. Experienced Said Husejinović was sure from the penalty spot to make it 1:0 for the Tuzla team.

The visiting players relaxed after taking the lead, unlike the opening minutes when Sarajevo was more assertive. However, the Sarajevo players continued to control the game but without real chances. The game was marked by many interruptions, but they were mostly not due to fouls, which were significantly fewer than usual in a Premier League match.

Only in the 45th minute did we record a good attempt by Hamzić, which went wide of Sloboda's goal, and then Guliashvili's shot was saved by Muminović in a one-on-one situation, but an offside position was ultimately called.

In the last minute of added time, a Sloboda player handled the ball in their penalty area, VAR intervened again, Bandić awarded a penalty, and Guliashvili was sure from the spot to make it 1:1. The end of the first half was signaled immediately after.

The second half started with chances for Čataković and Oliveira, but they failed to seriously threaten Muminović's goal. Later, another good attempt was recorded, this time Kyeremh shot from 25 meters on the ground, but the ball went slightly wide of the goal.

Sarajevo's offense paid off in the 59th minute when Đorđević ran onto a rebound and beat the motionless Muminović from 15 meters to complete the comeback and give Sarajevo a 2:1 lead.

Sloboda was completely harmless in the remainder of the match, Sarajevo calmly kept possession of the ball, and in the 69th minute, after Hadžanović's handball, Bandić awarded another penalty for Sarajevo, which Čataković converted.

The Sloboda players then ran out of ideas and consequently chances. The Sarajevo players calmly kept possession of the ball. Oliveira's good attempt in the 81st minute stands out, but he hit the outer part of the net with a shot from an angle.

The end of the match brought the first real chance for Sloboda in the second half. In the 87th minute, Kalesić shot, but not hard enough, so Rockov saved his shot without much trouble.

Neither side had any serious chances in added time, except for Guliashvili's free kick in the last minute, which Muminović saved even better, thus Sarajevo opened the new season in the WWIN League of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a victory.

Sarajevo will visit Sloga Meridian in the next round, while Sloboda will host Posušje.
