
(Patria) - In the 25th round at the Asim Ferhatović Hase stadium, FK Sarajevo hosted FK Igman from Konjic and achieved an important victory with a score of 3:2.
The match between Sarajevo and Igman had a significant result for both teams; the team from Koševo was looking for points to continue the fight for places leading to European competitions, while the guests needed points in the fight for survival.
This evening's opponents played a great first half in which as many as four goals were seen. Hamza Čataković was a double scorer for the hosts, and Amar Beganović scored a goal for 3:1. Anel Hebibović scored the goal for the guests when the score was 1:0.
In the second half, Stefan Denković best reacted to a rebound and scored a goal for 3:2, which will ultimately be the final score.
With three new points, Sarajevo has moved up to fourth position and is two points behind Velež, while Igman is in eighth position with 26 points.
In the next round, Sarajevo will play a derby at Grbavica, and Igman will host Posušje at home.
