(Patria) - Football Club (FK) Sarajevo ended a streak of two consecutive losses in the Premier League of BiH.
The Maroon team tonight, in the derby of the 8th round at Košev, defeated Velež with a score of 2:0.
However, on the other hand, the home fans were worried by Adem Ljajić, who had to leave the field due to injury in the 36th minute, writes Faktor.
Sarajevo took the lead with Ljajić's goal in the 4th minute. VAR was consulted, and referee Antoni Bandić directed a circus for us.
Initially, the referee from Grude disallowed the goal, but the lines were drawn again. And then it was determined that Ljajić was not in an offside position. Bandić pointed to the center for the home team's celebration.
A great chance for Sarajevo in the 17th minute. Kyeremeh hit a dry leaf, but the ball went wide of the goal.
Shortly after, Šarić had to leave the field due to injury, and then there was a shock for the home team as well. Ljajić grabbed his knee and had to leave the field.
Velež could have equalized in the 39th minute. The ball circulated around the home team's penalty area for a long time. Haskić eventually shot, but Mušija stopped his attempt.
Sarajevo doubled their lead in the 48th minute. Guliashvili brilliantly set up Mlinarić, who routinely scored for 2:0. The Maroon team's striker did not celebrate the goal, as he came to Košev precisely from the Mostar club.
After that, Karić stopped Sarajevo players' attempts twice, and on the other side, Mušija distinguished himself.
In the final minutes of the match, Sarajevo had two one-on-one counter-attacks, but they failed to score on either occasion. Coach Husref Musemić was visibly angry about this.
Velež could have scored a consolation goal in stoppage time, but Mušija saved Ziljkić's sitter with a brilliant intervention.
