(Patria) - The match between Sarajevo and Široki Brijeg 'drew the curtain' on the 20th round of the WWin League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and after the final whistle at Koševo, the score was 1:0.
Sarajevo hosted Široki Brijeg with a streak of four undefeated matches and as the third-placed team. On the other hand, the guests of the match at Koševo were also in good form, having four undefeated matches to their name as well. The first half of the first period passed without any excitement; both teams approached the duel at Koševo cautiously. It was the 33rd minute when Guliashvili missed a good chance for Sarajevo, heading the ball over the guests' goal.
Towards the end of the first half, the Georgian was again in the spotlight, shooting directly from a free kick, but hitting the post, so the teams went into halftime with a 0:0 score.
The second half brought an offensive from the home players, which they materialized in the 53rd minute when Guliashvili scored to take a 1:0 lead. It was the 13th goal for the Georgian forward. Shortly after the goal, Sarajevo had several more promising chances, saved by the in-form Široki Brijeg goalkeeper, Puljić. Guliashvili had another excellent opportunity in the 84th minute, but Puljić was well-positioned.
In the next round, Sarajevo will visit Velež in Mostar, while Široki Brijeg will host Posušje.
