Summit in Banja Luka organized by Dodik's lobbyist Flynn: Critics of China, pro-Russian analysts, and right-wingers to attend

(Patria) - An Economic Summit organized by the think tank Gold Institute for International Strategy, backed by Michael Flynn, former national security advisor in Donald Trump's administration and lobbyist for Milorad Dodik, who is paid $100,000 per month by the authorities in Republika Srpska, will be held in Banja Luka on May 27 and 28, Istraga.ba reported.

In addition to Flynn and the SNSD president, the summit will be attended by the president of the Gold Institute, Eli Gold, as well as member Rob Roos, a conservative Dutch politician and former member of the European Parliament in the previous term.

Former congressman Trent Franks, who was investigated by the House Ethics Committee in December 2017 for allegations of sexual harassment, will also participate in the summit. The New York Times reported that Franks repeatedly asked two female staffers to be surrogate mothers for his children, and allegedly offered one of them $5 million to bear his child, retaliating when she refused. He eventually resigned.

Dodik is also bringing Norwegian politician and political commentator Professor Glenn Diesen to Banja Luka, who focuses on political processes in Russia and its foreign policy. He is a regular commentator on Russian state television Russia Today, often criticized for promoting Russian propaganda. He was a candidate on the list of the pro-Russian party Pravda i Mir in Norway in the 2025 elections.

Janice Trey, director of the American media outlet The Epoch Times, will also attend the summit. The Epoch Times is known for promoting far-right ideologies and is a strong opponent of China, linked to the new religious movement Falun Gong, which emerged in China at the end of the last century and was banned by Chinese authorities in 1999. Trey was born in China where she survived Chinese labor camps during the Cultural Revolution.

Also participating is Peter R. Huessey, an expert on national security and defense policy in the United States.
