Šaljić calls on Katicu: Why is KS MUP not reacting to the toppling of the BiH flag, we want an investigation, answers, and criminal charges!

(Patria) - It is simply unbelievable that the Sarajevo Canton MUP has not reacted three days after the desecration of the state flag and the toppling of the flagpole on one of Jahorina's peaks, specifically on Košuta. The territory where the flag is located is within the territory and exclusive jurisdiction of Sarajevo Canton, said Jasmin Šaljić, a representative of the Party of BiH in the KS Assembly.

"The media have been reporting on this event literally every hour, but the Sarajevo Canton MUP either doesn't see, doesn't hear, or doesn't want to hear. As a representative in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, I call on Minister Admir Katica to immediately send a request for MUP KS officers to be dispatched to the location to conduct an investigation and carry out other police operational activities, inform the public, and file criminal charges. They don't need to look far for the masterminds, they have offered themselves and boasted in the media," Šaljić added.

As he stated, he will publicly question the minister about everything related to this event at the Sarajevo Canton Assembly session, about everything he should have done and didn't do.

"And that is his duty and obligation! The shameful silence of the MUP KS media department has caused concern among citizens who have the right to ask you, minister, if you are waiting for flagpoles with state flags in front of the MUP or the Presidency of BiH to be cut down before you react in any way. The masterminds of this miserable act, which they publicly boast about in the media and social networks, are local thugs Elek and Ćosić. I ask them publicly, if they cannot look at the flag of their country and cut down flagpoles, why don't they also publicly destroy their personal documents, tear up their identity cards, driver's licenses, passports, and registration certificates, because the BiH flag is on all these documents. You won't do that because you know that without this flag, you are nobody and nothing, everywhere else you are just ordinary foreigners. Remember! Without this flag that you are destroying, if it is somehow abolished and ceases to be valid, you will no longer be just ordinary foreigners, but 'migrants'," Šaljić concluded.
