Romania Teaches Ukraine a Football Lesson

(Patria) - The Romanian national team decisively defeated Ukraine today with a score of 3-0, in the first round of Group E of the European Championship being held in Germany.

There were no goals in the match played at the "Allianz Arena" in Munich until the 29th minute.

And then Nicolae Stanciu unleashed a fantastic curling shot from about twenty meters, putting Romania in the lead.

Romania doubled their lead in the 53rd minute when Razvan Marin scored from an even greater distance.

Denis Dragus, who scored four minutes later, was responsible for the 3-0, which turned out to be the final score.

Let's also recall that Ukraine qualified for the Euro in Germany in March of this year, when they first eliminated the Dragons 2-1 in the playoff semi-final at "Bilino Polje" in Zenica, and then later in the final, they were better than Iceland by the same score.

In the second match of Group E, Belgium and Slovakia will play at 6 PM.
