Rudar and Željo share points in uninteresting match, Blues finish with a player less

(Patria) - Rudar and Željezničar shared points in the 12th round match of the WWin League of Bosnia and Herzegovina – the duel in Prijedor ended with a score of 1:1.

Rudar started the match more energetically and created several promising situations in front of Muftić's goal, but without concrete results.

Only after about twenty minutes did Željezničar establish balance and start threatening.

The Blues had the best chance in the first half in the 29th minute – Alić crossed accurately, and Lagumdžija shot from close range, but goalkeeper Dubljević reacted brilliantly and saved the home team.

Just a few minutes later, Joao Erick missed another chance for the visitors, who shot after winning the ball, but inaccurately.

In the 37th minute, Rudar had an opportunity on the other side – Gutierez unleashed a powerful shot, but Muftić made a fantastic save, deflecting the ball into a corner.

Precisely after that set piece, the home team took the lead: after Gutierez's volley, the ball hit Karamarko and deceived Muftić for 1:0, the score at halftime.

The Blues' coach Admir Adžem reacted with a substitution right at the start of the second half.

The change quickly paid off, as Željezničar equalized in the 52nd minute. Joao Erick crossed excellently this time, and Lagumdžija headed the ball into Dubljević's net for 1:1.

Until the end of the match, the tempo dropped, there were no clear chances, and Željezničar finished the game with a player less – in the second minute of stoppage time, Rakić received a direct red card.

After this draw, Rudar remains in ninth place with eight points from 12 matches, while Željezničar holds second place in the table with 22 points.
