(Patria) - Damir Čanadi will not lead the Velež Football Club in the remainder of the season.

Čanadi's position became precarious after the home defeat against Željezničar (1:2) in the Premier League opener, and when you add to that the elimination by Inter from Andorra and a painful 5:1 defeat in the Conference League, it was clear that his chances of keeping his job in Mostar were minimal.

As Faktor learns from sources close to Velež, the two sides have agreed to a mutual termination of their cooperation.

Čanadi arrived at Velež before the start of the season, when preparations had already begun, after the club was unexpectedly left by Dean Klafurić.
