RK Izviđač Continues Its European Dream

(Patria) - Another great success for Bosnian-Herzegovinian sport in the last few days, and you could follow the match on BHRT channels.

In a spectacular atmosphere in front of a full City Sports Hall in Ljubuški, RK Izviđač achieved an impressive victory against Cypriot Anorthosis with a score of 30:25, thus qualifying for the quarterfinals of the EHF European Cup.

The first match ended in a 25:25 draw, and now it is clear – the scouts are continuing their European dream!

This success represents one of the greatest moments in the history of Bosnian-Herzegovinian handball.

We are not yet aware of what we have achieved. We learned something from the mistakes in the first match. When they got within one goal, we stepped on the gas and achieved a deserved victory, emphasized coach Ivan Džolić for BHRT.

"It was a tough match in Cyprus, we started it well, led by five goals, they caught up in the second half, but as a team, we are growing from match to match."

I must not be arrogant and say all sorts of things, we take it match by match, I believe we are of quality and that we will not fear anyone who stands in our way in the quarterfinals, coach Džolić said at the end.

A beautiful evening in Ljubuški, I really don't know what to say, handball player Diano Ćeško told BHRT.

"The hall was filled to the last seat, I would like to thank the audience, because it was nice to play in this atmosphere. Unlike the match in Cyprus, we finished this match with clear heads."
