EXHIBITION MATCH AND THE AWAKENING OF THE "OLIMPIK" club Željezničar celebrated on the renovated Otoka, floodlights illuminated the former Premier League club

(Patria) - OFK Olimpik and FK Željezničar played a friendly match tonight at the Otoka stadium, and the match ended with a 3-0 result for the "Blues".

This marked the official completion of the reconstruction work on the stadium's field, which now has artificial turf meeting FIFA standards and lighting.



Furthermore, it marked the official start of operations for the football club Olimpik Novi Grad, which continues the tradition of Olimpik, a club from Novi Grad, a former Premier League participant and winner of the Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The match was played in a 2x35 minute format, and the best chance of the first half came in the 26th minute when "Blues" winger Ernad Babaluk hit the crossbar.

A similar rhythm was observed in the second half. There were several good chances on both sides, but the nets remained empty, at least until the 57th minute. Then the "Blues" took the lead, with Ognjen Laušević scoring for 1-0.

The second goal arrived soon after - just two minutes later. This time, the scorer was 18-year-old Željo player Zlatan Zeničanin for 2-0.

A little later, Željezničar scored the third goal. It was the 66th minute when Laušević scored for 3-0.

The team from Grbavica thus achieved victory. However, much more significant than the result itself is the new awakening of the former Premier League club and the creation of conditions for young footballers.
