Real's new stadium is a real money-making machine

(Patria) - Real Madrid has been playing its matches at the new Santiago Bernabéu stadium since September 2023.

The work on the new Bernabéu was estimated at over half a billion pounds, and everyone agrees that it is the most modern stadium in Europe.

Although it was a huge investment, it has now become clear that it will pay off for Real many times over.

Namely, in the financial report for 2024, it was announced that Real earned an incredible 307 million euros from the stadium in the 2023/2024 season.

Most of that money came from ticket sales, and the rest from stadium tours and concerts.

The Bernabéu is also rented out for concerts by world stars and has become an absolute money-making machine.

The stadium also has around 200 VIP seats, for which an annual ticket costs a huge 50,000 euros. From their sale alone, the Royal Club has earned ten million euros.

It is estimated that Real earns approximately ten million euros per match at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Given that they have at least 26 matches this season, they will earn 260 million euros from that alone.

This makes them by far the leading club in the world, and the Spanish newspaper Marca estimates that this figure will increase further in the future. The closest to them is PSG, which earns approximately seven million euros per match.
