Real Madrid and Sporting Lisbon eliminated, Bayern Munich and Arsenal in the semi-finals

In the end, the Bavarians secured their place in the semi-finals, having also won the first leg (2:1), advancing with an aggregate score of 6:4.

The match at the Allianz Arena started dramatically. In the first minute, Manuel Neuer made a major error, which Arda Güler exploited to give Real the lead.

The home side responded very quickly. Just five minutes later, from a corner, Aleksandar Pavlović scored to make it 1:1.

In the 29th minute, one of the most beautiful moments of the match occurred - Güler spectacularly scored directly from a free kick, once again giving the visitors the lead.

However, this situation was preceded by a questionable decision, as Brahim Díaz clearly simulated a foul, which referee Slavko Vinčić did not penalise.

Bayern did not stay behind for long, as Harry Kane soon equalised.

However, before the end of the first half, Kylian Mbappé also got on the scoresheet, so the teams went into the break with the tie completely level.

The second half brought a somewhat calmer tempo, but there was no shortage of excitement.

The key moment came in the closing stages when Eduardo Camavinga made a rookie mistake.

After coming on in the 62nd minute, he received his first yellow card in the 78th, and then a second just eight minutes later for delaying the game, leaving Real with a man down.

Bayern took advantage of the numerical superiority right at the end. In the 89th minute, Luis Díaz scored an important goal, bringing his team closer to the semi-finals, and in stoppage time, Michael Olise confirmed the Bavarians' passage.

Arsenal also qualified for the semi-finals. The Gunners played out a 0:0 draw in tonight's return leg against Sporting Lisbon, but advanced thanks to a narrow 1:0 victory from the first leg.

Unlike the spectacular double-header between Bayern and Real, which was full of top-class football, the clash between Arsenal and Sporting offered little excitement.

Arsenal largely controlled the situation on the pitch in the return leg and protected the advantage gained away in Lisbon.

Although they had the initiative and attacked somewhat more, their play was not particularly attractive.

Sporting had the biggest chance in the first half in the 43rd minute, when Catamo hit the post, so the teams went into the break goalless.
