If the Serbian Army were to enter the territory of the BiH entity RS today, the reactions from the US Embassy, the EU Delegation, the OHR, Brussels, London, and Washington would be identical to the reactions we saw and heard in the past few days regarding January 9th.
Unilateral Separatism
And those reactions consisted of futile statements calling for de-escalation, although there are no tensions. Tensions arise when two sides oppose each other on an issue. In the case of January 9th, nothing was bilateral; on the contrary, only unilateral separatism was evident.
The RS entity, created as a form of administrative unit from an imposed peace solution, celebrated its "statehood day" on that day. Thus, the political leadership of that entity actually showed that they are not celebrating the day they became an entity within Bosnia and Herzegovina, but the fact that they are celebrating statehood, which is, admittedly, still informal, but with a tendency towards formalization. That tendency was visible in Belgrade, the neighboring country from whose leadership came congratulations and messages of support.
And that is why it is clear that the calls for de-escalation and adherence to constitutional and legal provisions did not apply to Milorad Dodik's separatists. Because, from the published statements, especially the one from the US Embassy, it is clear that January 9th does not produce tensions, and therefore the embassy only problematizes it because it is also a religious holiday. Which would be another problem if the plans created on January 9th had not succeeded in resolving the Muslim question of post-Yugoslav society.
The calls for de-escalation were actually directed at those who might dare to react in a certain way to January 9th, which attacks the existence of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the stability of the Balkans anew each year. Therefore, "de-escalate" primarily referred to Bosniaks, just as they were told after January 9th, 1992.
Because the creators of the RS and Milorad Dodik's political creators do not want any force that will resist the secession of the RS and its annexation to the former Greater Serbia, today's Serb world. Therefore, reactions to January 9th, both this year and in previous years, should be viewed through the prism of the international community's plan to partition Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In that plan, although fragile and completely lost within itself, the European Union plays a significant role. Primarily because its policies are dictated by London and Washington, and secondarily because that Union is meant to serve as an illusion to everyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina who believes they will thus preserve the country from dissolution. But they won't, because it's just an illusion.
An illusion for Bosniaks for whom a plan has long been created according to which they should voluntarily enter the zone of disappearance. EU institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina are largely involved in issues concerning the FBiH entity, where 90 percent of Bosnian Muslims (Bosniaks) live. On the other hand, their credibility and authority in the RS entity are on par with the authority of Ćamil Duraković or Nebojša Vukanović. Everyone hears them, no one listens.
Awakening is Bloody
Therefore, there is no doubt that the policy of the RS is created by the triangle Belgrade - Moscow - Banja Luka, with the assistance of Viktor Orbán.
In the Federation, it is different; there, the EU Delegation, in cooperation with the OHR, largely shapes the political landscape, and the EU ambassador, along with his American colleague, dares to order the entity government what to do with airports and other prosperous companies. And they are obeyed, because the head of the government is a Bosniak with a firm belief in the illusion.
And that the BiH's path to the European Union is a perverted illusion was shown by the example of Željana Zovko, who shamelessly presents the Old Bridge as Croatian cultural heritage in the European Parliament. The Old Bridge, destroyed by Croatian criminals, she annexed to Croatia without anyone in the European Parliament asking her why, how, since when. And they didn't ask her, because in the projected plans, the BiH entity of the Federation is part of Greater Croatia, so from that perspective, it turns out that Zovko is right.
Or the absurdity with the conditions for BiH's European path. The other day, someone said that they burdened us with meaningless questions in the questionnaire, calculating that we would never answer. And now, as "friends," they want to reduce the number of conditions for opening negotiations. Where is all this haste coming from, if it is known that Bosnia and Herzegovina does not meet the conditions for EU membership on any parameter? Except for mineral and other wealth.
The fact that the role of the OHR has largely changed during the mandate of the current High Representative fits into all of this. Christian Schmidt, a German Christian Democrat, uses that institution as an EU prince for the Federation, occasionally commenting on issues of the Serb part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Schmidt's partner in imposing decisions for the Federation is Andrej Plenković, with whom he has an open connection and with whom he regularly meets to plan the next moves. Because of this, the FBiH entity already looks like a province of Croatia, and the decisions expected in the coming period are yet to oppress Muslims to ensure the key possibility for the dissolution of Bosnia. Because, when the Federation is managed de facto and de jure by Čović and Plenković, there will be no obstacles to agreeing with Dodik on the date of the final partition of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Any tensions that might be caused by oppressed Muslims (Bosniaks) would be resolved by the "impartial" EUFOR, and perhaps NATO.
And so that this text is not dark and pessimistic, it should be noted at the end that, no matter how much the EU, the US, and Great Britain work and prepare the ground for the partition of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is the Bosniaks, Bosnians, and Herzegovinians who ultimately have the say. It is only vitally important that they understand where all this is leading; after that, it will be much easier for them to do what must be done.
They must not sleep through it, because awakening here is bloody!
