Sarajevo's Rhapsody at Koševo, Four Balls Found the Net of Široki

(Patria) - Sarajevo footballers today decimated the Široki Brijeg team at Koševo with a score of 4:0 in the first final match of the BiH Cup.

There was only one team at Koševo, and Aldin Turkeš's early goal steered the match towards the maroon side, writes Faktor.

Turkeš scored in the fourth minute. Kyeremeh crossed, Mujkić headed the ball back into the middle, where the Sarajevo striker brilliantly found his footing and hit the net.

In the 15th minute, it was already 2:0. Turkeš was the scorer again, confirming he is in great form.

After a hat-trick in the previous match in Doboj against Sloga, today he opened the path for Sarajevo towards the trophy with two goals.

This time, Turkeš was in the right place after Bubanja's shot was blocked, and from six to seven meters, he beat the helpless Josipović with his left foot.

But that wasn't all in the first half. Kyeremeh missed a good opportunity in added time, and immediately after that, Sarajevo's net shook after a cardinal mistake by Rogić. But to his and the maroon team's luck, the scorer Jukić was offside.

Sarajevo started the second half with much hesitation, but the fans urged their players not to stop attacking.

In the 54th minute, Sarajevo scored their third goal. Kyeremeh set up Kuprešak, who was in excellent form today, and he returned the ball first-time to Bubanja, who shot on the run and scored for 3:0.

In the 64th minute, Josipović had to pick the ball out of the net for the fourth time. Kuprešak did everything excellently, brilliantly twisting past Široki players in the penalty area, and then shot weakly with his right foot, but his beautiful move was rewarded when Taraba unfortunately sent the ball into the net.

After a month-long break due to injury, Sarajevo's best player this season, Giorgi Guliashvili, returned to the field. The Georgian got a chance to play in the last five minutes.

The second leg at Pecara will be played in seven days, but it could be a mere formality, as Sarajevo has already, with one hand, lifted the trophy after this match.
