FIRST SIX MONTHS Buljubašić and his team increased Elektroprivreda's loss from 24 million to 26 million KM!

(Patria) - Tomorrow, August 1st, citizens in parts of FBiH who are users of Elektroprivreda BiH will pay a higher price for electricity.

To recall, the electricity price increase for the household category will amount to 10.04 percent, and for the other consumption category, 7.29 percent.

The current management of Elektroprivreda is persistently trying to attribute this price increase to the former FBiH Government and the management of EPBiH, and at the same time, the Profit and Loss Statement of Elektroprivreda for the period from January 1, 2024, to June 30, 2024, was published today, showing a multi-million loss for this period.

Given that Sanel Buljubašić and others have been managing Elektroprivreda extensively during this period, it is clear that this time they will not be able to 'invoke Novalić' as a life raft for their inability to rationally manage EP BiH.

Revenues have fallen by 32 million and 408 thousand KM compared to the same period last year, and the loss has increased from 24 million KM to 26 million KM.

Almir Bečarević had previously warned that the negative performance of EP BiH would surely continue, which is now evident from the report.

“As I said a few weeks ago, the negative performance of Elektroprivreda BiH will continue. Nothing has been done on the restructuring of JP EP BiH, and now the only solution is to increase the price of electricity for everyone. Soon, price increases will also apply to those switching from public to market supply,” said Bečarević.

We remind you that Sanel Buljubašić, the director of Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine, recently claimed that he did not know how the business would proceed by the end of the year.

“At this moment, I cannot provide a projection considering the effects we will have by the end of the year. The tariff procedure has not passed, we have completed another one that has passed. In about 9 months, we will have a picture of how Elektroprivreda BiH will operate. When we talk about investment, it should come from credit funds. From our own funds, we must maintain existing facilities,” said Buljubašić.
