First semi-final clash between Bayern and Real ends in a draw

(Patria) - The first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final clash between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid has concluded.

There was no winner in the end, and the match finished 2:2.

Already in the first minute, we saw an excellent chance for Bayern. After a pass from Kane, Sane found himself alone in front of the visitors' goalkeeper from Madrid, but the latter came out victorious from that duel. In the sixth minute, Kane himself had a good chance, but Lunin saved well again, before Sane shot again a minute later, but this time over the goal.

One of the most exciting moments we saw was in the ninth minute. Kane shot from almost the halfway line, wanting to surprise Lunin, but the ball went slightly over his goal. Two chances followed for Musiala, in the 12th and 15th minutes, but he was inaccurate both times.

However, despite Bayern's dominance in the opening part of the match, it was Real who took the lead. In the 24th minute, Vinicius Junior scored after a beautiful assist from Kroos to make it 0:1.

Bayern's pressure then subsided. The Bavarians had more possession of the ball, but there were no real chances until the 42nd minute. Kane shot from a free kick from about 20 meters, but the ball went wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, on the other side, Rodrygo also shot from a free kick, but the ball hit the wall.

That was all we saw in the first half of the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final.

The second half started as calmly as the first ended, and we recorded the first serious chance in the 51st minute when Kroos shot after a nice pass from Bellingham, but Neuer was well-positioned and stopped his shot.

Two minutes later, Bayern equalized. Leroy Sane made an excellent run down the right flank, shot, and sent the ball into the net to make it 1:1.

The visitors had not even recovered from that goal when a new shock followed. In the 56th minute, Musiala was fouled in the penalty area, and the main referee Clement Turpin pointed to the spot. Harry Kane was the confident penalty taker, completing the comeback for the Bavarians and delighting the crowd at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern did not stop even after the comeback. They continued to dominate the field, or rather the half of the field belonging to the Royal Club. In the 66th minute, Kane found himself in an excellent position but was blocked at the last moment. A minute later, Dier shot after a corner, but Lunin saved.

In the 79th minute, we recorded an excellent chance for Real Madrid. Vinicius received a ball in the penalty area, set himself up, and shot, but Neuer stopped his attempt.

In the 82nd minute, Real Madrid equalized, from a penalty. Previously, Rodrygo had penetrated the hosts' penalty area, Kim Min-Jae naively fouled him, and Turpin this time pointed to the spot in favor of the visitors. Vinicius Junior was the confident penalty taker, making it 2:2 and his second goal of the evening.

Until the end of the match, apart from a few solo runs by Gnabry, we saw nothing from either side. The fatigue from the very high tempo of the match certainly contributed to this, but primarily the preservation of their own goal. Thus, the first semi-final clash in this season's UEFA Champions League ended without a winner.

The return leg is scheduled for May 8th at the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid. Tomorrow, May 1st, at 9:00 PM, the first leg of the second semi-final duel between Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain is scheduled.
