First phase of stadium reconstruction at Koševo expected to be completed by the end of 2025.

(Patria) - The KS Government, the City of Sarajevo, the Centar Municipality, and FK Sarajevo are jointly working on the reconstruction project of the "Asim Ferhatović Hase" stadium.

The intention is to bring the stadium to the level of UEFA Category 4 as soon as possible, it was announced from FK Sarajevo.

The club from Koševo also states that they have prepared the conceptual design of the reconstruction with their own funds, and the City of Sarajevo will finance the executive design.

"The Centar Municipality is already carrying out activities to issue the necessary approvals and permits, and as soon as the necessary conditions are met, the project will be delegated to the KS Government," FK Sarajevo stated.

They added that the Ministry of Culture and Sports of KS will be the largest financier of the reconstruction project, and the intention is to co-finance the project together with other institutions.

They also expect support from the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"The ultimate goal is to create the best possible conditions for fans at the stadium, so that FK Sarajevo can play its European matches on its home ground," FK Sarajevo emphasized.

Finally, they conclude that the first phase of reconstruction should be completed by the end of 2025.
