(Patria) - Members of the Presidency of BiH must be elected from the entire country, not from entities. Delegates to the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly must be elected from the entire territory of the country.
Therefore, the Presidency of BiH – one electoral unit. The House of Peoples of the BiH PA – one electoral unit. Without entities.
This was ruled by the Court in Strasbourg in the case Slaven Kovačević vs. BiH.
The Council of Ministers of BiH has the option to appeal this ruling within 90 days.
