DRAGONS' PREPARATIONS: Barbarez calls up Bajraktarević, Đakovac out

(Patria) - The coach of the BiH national football team, Sergej Barbarez, is addressing the public regarding the upcoming gathering of our national team ahead of the matches with San Marino and Austria.



PSV player Esmir Bajraktarević has received a call-up to the BiH senior national team.

This was confirmed today at a press conference by Sergej Barbarez. On the other hand, Ifet Đakovac has been ruled out.

“Yesterday we received information that Ifet Đakovac got injured. I'm sorry, he was in good form. We will miss him. Last night we decided to activate the preliminary call-up for Esmir Bajraktarević,” said Barbarez.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team will play two World Cup qualifying matches in the upcoming period, in which our team will face San Marino and Austria.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team will play away against San Marino on September 6th, and three days later, the Dragons will host the Austrian team at the Bilino Polje stadium in Zenica.
