Preston and Fulham Treat Spectators to a Memorable Penalty Shootout

(Patria) - On the night the new Champions League season began, a memorable match was played in England.

Namely, Preston defeated Fulham after as many as 17 penalty rounds and advanced to the round of 16 of the League Cup.

The regular part of the match ended with a score of 1:1, after which a penalty shootout ensued.

A total of 34 penalties were taken, of which 31 were successful.

Timothy Castagne's miss was a crucial one for Fulham, after which Ryan Ledson brought great joy to the home players and fans.
