Match between Sarajevo and Borac interrupted at Koševo, Bordeaux team left the pitch in stoppage time

(Patria) - The return leg of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup quarterfinal between Sarajevo and Banja Luka's Borac was interrupted tonight at the Koševo stadium in stoppage time.

Revolted by the decisions of the main referee Mateo Musa, the home team decided to voluntarily leave the pitch, reports Faktor.

At the time of the interruption, Borac was leading 2-1, a result that takes the Banja Luka side to the semifinals (the first match ended 0-0).

Incidentally, Borac took the lead tonight in the 23rd minute through Stefan Marčetić.

In the 49th minute, the home team asked for a penalty after a duel between Mustafić and Ćelić in Borac's penalty area. However, referee Musa did not signal, and instead booked Bordeaux team coach Simon Rožman for protesting.

In the 54th minute, a penalty was awarded to Sarajevo. Čataković placed the ball from 11 meters and scored.

The celebration at Koševo was short-lived, as the guests soon regained the lead.

In the 61st minute, Vuković got past Beganović and then Hasić, delivered a nice cross, and Marčetić jumped between Đuričković and Soldo to score his second goal of the match.

Another blow for Sarajevo came in the 63rd minute - substitute Renan Oliveira received a red card just six minutes after coming on.

The Brazilian was sent off after the assistant referee's intervention, who saw Oliveira hit a Borac player in the face with his hand during a duel.

After the sending-off, Sarajevo was in a difficult situation. The home team had the ball at their feet, but the guests skillfully closed off all approaches to the goal.
