
(Patria) – At its 24th regular session, the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the Annual Report of the Central Bank of BiH for 2024.
The report provides a comprehensive overview of macroeconomic trends and the Bank's activities during the past year, with a special emphasis on preserving monetary stability, strengthening foreign exchange reserves, and modernizing the financial system.
Foreign exchange reserves reached BAM 17.6 billion, an increase of BAM 1.36 billion compared to 2023. Monetary gold reserves reached a record 3.5 tons, and the currency board coverage ratio increased to 108.38%.
The Central Bank continued its activities on modernizing the payment system, preparations for joining the SEPA area, digital transformation, and strengthening transparency.
