Increased number of players available to selectors at the Euros in Germany

(Patria) - The national teams participating in the upcoming European Championship in Germany will have 26 players at their disposal, instead of the previous 23.

This decision was made yesterday by the Executive Committee of the European Football Union (UEFA). The idea was first presented at a meeting of coaches in Dusseldorf.

The increase in the number of players came due to the dense competition schedule this season and the risk of injuries.

The European Championship in Germany will be held from June 14 to July 14.
