Contracts worth 3.63 million BAM signed for infrastructure projects in Novi Grad

(Patria) - The Mayor of Novi Grad Sarajevo Municipality Semir Efendić and representatives of contractors today signed four framework agreements and three contracts for the implementation of infrastructure projects in this municipality, with a total value of 3,637,598.24 BAM.

These concern solving the everyday problems faced by citizens, and the funds, as Efendić said, were planned in the budget. He emphasized that this is part of the funds, and that more than 20 million BAM is earmarked for capital investments this year.

Efendić signed the agreements and contracts with representatives of the contractors, the companies MG BH d.o.o. Sarajevo, Orman d.o.o. Kiseljak, SES d.o.o. Sarajevo, AME d.o.o. Breza, Grakop d.o.o. Kiseljak, Harysco d.o.o Sarajevo and Dinalsa d.o.o. Sarajevo.

The framework agreement concerns the execution of works on the reconstruction, maintenance, and repair of streets, local roads, squares, parking lots, and bridges (LOT 1 and LOT 2) for a total of 40 streets in the municipality.

"Two significant projects concern access to our sports and recreation zones, one is Višegradska Street towards the recreation zone of Park Forest Mojmilo, and the value of works on that project is over 400 thousand BAM. This also includes the construction of a parking area at the foot of Mojmilo hill," said Efendić.

The sports and recreation center "Zlatno polje" in Sokolj, which has been operational since October last year and at full capacity since this year, i.e., the access to that park and the connection of Senada Čolića and Numan paše Ćuprilića streets, is also covered, and the project value is nearly half a million BAM. Among other things, about forty parking spaces are planned at the entrance to the sports and recreation center "Zlatno polje".

Efendić added that one framework agreement concerns the execution of works on the arrangement of the promenade and square of Bulevar Branilaca Dobrinje with accompanying roads and parking areas, and one of the contracts concerns the execution of works on the protection of pedestrian zones Alipašino Polje B-phase (squares, boulevards, and promenades). Regarding Dobrinja, among other things, the implementation of design solutions is planned where the installation of new LED lighting will improve the quality of life.

The signed contracts also provide for the execution of works on the construction of a separate sewage network in Atife Karalić Čikma Street and parts of Atife Karalić and Bosanskih kraljeva streets, as well as a contract for the execution of works on addressing stationary traffic in the municipality.

The director of the construction company "Orman", Bedrija Hodžić, highlighted good cooperation with the expert teams of the Novi Grad Sarajevo Municipality in the implementation of projects, adding that works will begin soon.
