The first match of the third round of the WWin League of Bosnia and Herzegovina was played in Posušje, and after the final whistle, the score was 1:1.
Posušje recorded two wins in the first two rounds of the new season. First, they narrowly defeated Igman, and then they beat Sloboda 2:0 at Tušanj. Sloga Meridian, on the other hand, has played only one match so far, losing at home to Sarajevo 1:3, scsport.ba reports.
In the first half of the match between Posušje and Sloga Meridian, the first big chance fell to Sloga. After a cross, Predragović headed the ball, but Galić made a great save to block his shot. In the ninth minute, the same player tried a shot from long range, but the ball went wide. The start of the match belonged to Jagodić's men. After that, Rozić tried to threaten Sloga's goal, but experienced goalkeeper Pavlović reacted well and caught the ball. Rozić then shot again, but one of Sloga's defenders blocked his attempt. Pavković tried his luck from long range, but Pavlović again safely caught the ball.
In the 32nd minute, Boban produced a piece of magic. After receiving the ball in midfield, he shook off his marker, shot from about 20 meters, and precisely found the net to give Posušje the lead. In the 38th minute, after a VAR review, the main referee awarded a penalty to Sloga. Jović was confident from the spot, equalising the score. The first yellow card was shown in the 42nd minute when Grbaže illegally stopped Boban. After the free kick was taken, there was no danger to Pavlović's goal, and the score remained unchanged. The fourth official indicated four minutes of stoppage time. In the first minute of added time, Jović took a corner, and the ball reached Ristić, who shot wide of Galić's goal. That was all for the first half.
At the start of the second half, Pavković received a warning, followed by a period of play between the two penalty areas without serious chances for either side. Home coach Duško Vrenešević tried to change things on the pitch with substitutions, bringing on Kamenar and Mandić, but the guests from Doboj were more than an equal opponent. The first shot on target in the second half came from substitute Kamenar, who tried from distance, but the score remained unchanged.
The unstoppable Gabrijel Boban found himself in a great chance with a brilliant solo run, took a shot, but this time luck was not on his side; he hit the woodwork, and it remained 1:1. The main referee, Mateo Musa, decided to add four minutes of stoppage time. Begić threatened in stoppage time, but the score remained unchanged.
In the next round, Posušje will visit Gabela, while Sloga will host the current champions, Banja Luka's Borac, at home.
