(Patria) - HŠK Posušje hosted Rudar Prijedor in the fifth round of the WWin League of Bosnia and Herzegovina last night, and the match ended in a draw with no goals.
Posušje showed initiative against Rudar at the Mokri Dolac stadium from the very beginning. The home team was aggressive and created numerous chances in front of the opponent's goal, but failed to convert any of them into a goal.
Ball possession in the first half was entirely on Posušje's side, who controlled the game with 73% possession, while Rudar had only 27%. The visitors did not manage to create any serious chances in front of the home team's goal and mostly defended during the first half of the game.
Although the result did not come, Posušje showed control of the game and dominance on the field.
The most controversial situation of the match occurred in the 54th minute. A Posušje player sprinted and collided with Rudar's goalkeeper Dubljančić, who reached the ball first and remained on the ground. The home player then approached him to check on his condition, and at that moment, Rudar's goalkeeper raised his leg and kicked the opposing player. Referee Mateo Musa initially pointed to the penalty spot, but after consulting with the VAR room, he overturned his decision and no penalty was awarded to Posušje.
Just a few minutes later, in the 61st minute, Posušje had the best chance of the match. Živković found himself alone in front of goal from just five meters, but his shot was blocked.
The continuation of the match brought more chances. In the 66th minute, Krekić found space for a shot, but the ball ended up in the block.
Three minutes later, Begić shot powerfully from distance, but Dubljančić saved Rudar's net with a great reaction.
Shortly before the end of the match, Hanuljak had another good chance, but his shot went wide of the goal.
In stoppage time, Begić had another shot towards the goal, but the ball went over the goal.
What marked the match was that Posušje had a total of 27 shots towards the goal, of which only 5 were on target, while Rudar failed to register a single shot.
Tonight at 9:00 PM, two matches will be played. At Pecara, Široki Brijeg will host Sloga Doboj, while Radnik will host Velež in Bijeljina.
On Sunday at 6:45 PM, the derby between Borac and Sarajevo will be played in Banja Luka. The round will conclude on Monday with another derby, at Grbavica, between Željezničar and Zrinjski.
