Taxpayers of the Federation of BiH Paid 3,309,495,402 KM in Public Revenue in Five Months

(Patria) - The Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH informs the public that taxpayers of the Federation of BiH paid 3,309,495,402 KM in public revenue in the period January - May 2024, which is an increase of 278,576,788 KM, or 9.19%, compared to January - May 2023.

In the structure of public revenue for the period January - May 2024:

- Profit tax and arrears of profit tax were collected in the amount of 340,720,568 KM,
- Income tax and arrears of personal income tax were collected in the amount of 319,591,051 KM,
- Tax on the transfer of real estate and rights was collected in the amount of 37,304,450 KM,
- Property tax, inheritance and gift tax were collected in the amount of 27,313,489 KM,
- Arrears of other taxes were collected in the amount of 169,979 KM,
- Fees and charges were collected in the amount of 325,029,351 KM,
- Fines were collected in the amount of 27,568,778 KM,
- Membership fees were collected in the amount of 6,617,654 KM,
- Other public revenues were collected in the amount of 1,507,560 KM.

In the period January-May 2024, contributions for pension and disability insurance, health insurance, and contributions for unemployment were collected in a total amount of 2,223,470,292 KM.

In the structure of contributions for the period January-May 2024, the following were collected:

- Contributions for PIO/MIO in the amount of 1,245,701,982 KM,

- Contributions for health insurance in the amount of 875,606,169 KM,
- Contributions for unemployment insurance in the amount of 102,162,141 KM.

Number of Employees in the Federation of BiH

The number of employees by place of residence of the employee as of May 31, 2024, is 548,183. Compared to the published data on the number of employees as of May 31, 2023, when the number of employees was 541,084, this number is higher by 7,099, and compared to the previously published data on the number of employees as of April 30, 2024, when it was 546,178, it is higher by 2,005.

According to official data from the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH, as of May 31, 2024, a total of 102,367 fiscal devices were installed in the Federation of BiH, through which a total turnover of 5,562,985,341.94 KM was recorded in May 2024.

Of the total number of installed fiscal devices, 30% submit daily reports with individual receipt amounts, and 70% submit a consolidated daily report of fiscal receipts.

Compared to May 31, 2023, the number of fiscal devices is higher by 5,287, and the recorded turnover in May 2024 is higher by 214,295,278.40 KM compared to May 2023.

The municipality with the largest number of fiscal devices as of May 31, 2024, is Centar Sarajevo Municipality, with 6,741 fiscal devices installed in its area.

The municipality with the smallest number of fiscal devices as of May 31, 2024, is Dobretići Municipality, with 6 fiscal devices installed in its area. The municipality with the highest total turnover recorded through fiscal devices in May 2024 is Ilidža Municipality, with a total turnover recorded in its area
of fiscal devices in the amount of 480,435,118.93 KM.

The municipality with the lowest total turnover recorded through fiscal devices in May 2024 is Dobretići Municipality, with a total turnover of fiscal devices recorded in its area in the amount of 131,310.35 KM.
