Tax Administration of FBiH: 7.2 billion KM of public revenues collected

(Patria) - The Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina informs the public that taxpayers in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina paid 7,217,875,095 KM in public revenues in the period January – November 2024, which is an increase of 543,555,306 KM, or 8.14%, compared to January – November 2023.

The table below shows the payments of public revenues in the period January – November 2024 compared to January – November 2023 by cantons:

In the structure of public revenues for the period January – November 2024:

- Income tax and arrears of personal income tax were collected in the amount of 697,037,519 KM,
- Profit tax and arrears of profit tax were collected in the amount of 620,061,991 KM,
- Tax on real estate and rights transactions was collected in the amount of 88,248,776 KM,
- Property tax, inheritance, and gift tax were collected in the amount of 45,326,169 KM,
- Arrears of other taxes were collected in the amount of 405,639 KM,
- Fees and charges were collected in the amount of 701,106,649 KM,
- Fines were collected in the amount of 67,262,782 KM,
- Membership fees were collected in the amount of 15,911,950 KM,
- Other public revenues were collected in the amount of 4,010,315 KM.

In the period January-November 2024, contributions for pension and disability insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance were collected in the total amount of 4,978,096,734 KM.

In the structure of contributions in the period January-November 2024, the following were collected:

- Contributions for PIO/MIO in the amount of 2,781,188,967 KM,
- Contributions for health insurance in the amount of 1,967,797,925 KM,
- Contributions for unemployment insurance in the amount of 229,109,842 KM.

Number of employees in the Federation of BiH

The number of employees by place of residence of the employee as of November 30, 2024, is 552,148. Compared to the published data on the number of employees as of November 30, 2023, when the number of employees was 545,619, this number is higher by 6,529, and compared to the previously published data on the number of employees as of October 31, 2024, when it was 551,291, it is higher by 857.

As of November 30, 2024, there are 306,969 employees in the Federation of BiH, or 55.60% men and 245,179, or 44.40% women.
