
(Patria) - The Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina today presented the conceptual design for the construction of the national stadium "Bilino polje" in Zenica.

The authors of this solution are experts from the Zenica design firm "Aksa", led by architect Zvjezdan Turkić.

The president of the Football Association of BiH, Vico Zeljković, previously announced that the existing stadium "Bilino polje" in Zenica will be demolished and replaced by a new one with 18,000 seats, meeting FIFA and UEFA standards.

The stadium will have all mandatory facilities such as changing rooms for players, coaches, referees, warm-up rooms, medical rooms for players, anti-doping, delegate rooms, security, laundry, equipment room, spectator medical rooms, police, administration, media and press service rooms, museum, VIP boxes, catering areas, mixed zone…

The facility will also include commercial spaces, retail, service, and catering areas such as fan clubs, pubs, pizzerias, fitness centers, billiard rooms, souvenir shops, boutiques, various services, and more.
It was also announced that all four stands of the national stadium will be covered.

There are currently no announcements regarding when construction work might begin.
