New season of BiH Premier League begins: Derby postponed, but it will be interesting

(Patria) - With a match in Doboj, between home team Sloga and Velež from Mostar today at 6 PM, the new season of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina in football begins.

The break is over, and besides the match in Doboj, another encounter will be played tonight. Široki Brijeg will host the Posušje team at Pecara stadium starting at 9 PM.

On Sunday, two more matches, both scheduled for 9 PM.

New Premier League team Rudar from Prijedor will travel to nearby Banja Luka to face Borac, and Željezničar will host Radnik from Bijeljina at Grbavica stadium.

The derby of the first round, in which the current champion Zrinjski was supposed to start its title defense under the Bijeli Brijeg stadium against Sarajevo, has been postponed due to the European matches of these two clubs.
