Hasetov klasik Begins: Sarajevo and Čelik Draw, Benko Scores a Masterpiece to Mark the Opening

(Patria) - The "Hasetov klasik", the 32nd memorial tournament in honor of Sarajevo legend Asim Ferhatović Haset, began today in Sarajevo.

The tournament opened with a match between Sarajevo and Čelik, which started at 10:00 AM and ended with a 2:2 draw.

The nets remained still until the sixth minute when Miloš Stojčev excellently intercepted the ball from Čelik's defenders and passed to Mersudin Ahmetović, who scored to give Sarajevo the lead. After a great save by the visiting goalkeeper, the ball reached Leon Benko, who shot attractively but wide of the goal. A few minutes later, Isaković also threatened, but his shot ended up outside the frame of Sarajevo's goal.

The first half ended with a minimal lead for the "Bordo tim" (Maroon team).

Just twenty seconds into the second half, the visitors managed to equalize, and Fadil Budimović scored with a precise shot to make it 1:1. A minute later, a masterpiece that delighted the spectators followed. Miloš Stojčev delivered an excellent corner kick, and Leon Benko reacted brilliantly, scoring a goal to give the "Bordo tim" the lead again.

In the 30th minute of the match, another goal was scored, this time in Sarajevo's net. After a rebound, the ball reached Bureković, who scored with a precise shot to equalize the score at 2:2. There were no further changes to the score until the end of the match.
