New Champions League season begins: Arsenal and Union SG take full spoils from away games

(Patria) - Esmir Bajraktarević, BiH national football team player, watched his PSV's debacle from the bench tonight at the start of the new Champions League season, writes Faktor.

The Dutch team was defeated at home with a score of 1:3 by the Belgian team Royale Union SG.

The scorers for the visitors were David (penalty in the 9th minute), Ait El Hadj (39th), and Mac Allister (81st). The consolation goal for PSV was scored by Van Bommel in the 90th minute. Bajraktarević did not enter the game.

In the second match played at the same time, Arsenal celebrated a 2:0 victory away against Athletic Bilbao.

The heroes were Martinelli and Trossard, who each had a goal and an assist. Martinelli broke the hosts' net in the 72nd minute, and Trossard confirmed the Gunners' victory in the 87th.
