(Patrai) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's qualification for the Football World Cup did not bring joy only to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The moment the decisive penalty was scored in Zenica, the celebration began almost simultaneously in multiple directions. While the stands of Bilino Polje erupted, the same energy quickly spilled beyond the borders of BiH.
Citizens of Novi Pazar celebrated Bosnia and Herzegovina's qualification for the World Cup in the central city streets, with songs, flares, and fireworks.
A large number of citizens gathered in the city center, where a spontaneous celebration was organized and lasted for hours. Along with the flags of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the attendees sang fan and patriotic songs, while flares and fireworks further completed the atmosphere.
A similar atmosphere could be seen in Montenegro, where members of the fan group Gazije Rožaje came out to celebrate Bosnia and Herzegovina's qualification for the World Cup in the streets of that city.
The BiH diaspora across Europe took to the streets – from Germany to Slovenia, reports BHRT.
