OFFICIAL DUTY Mehmedbašić retained millionaire status, followed by Ibrišimović

(Patria) - For legal defense by official duty in the last three years, multi-million sums have been paid from the Sarajevo Canton Budget to Sarajevo lawyers, and some lawyers have become millionaires from representation.

For compensation for representation by official duty at the Cantonal Court Sarajevo in the last three years, 7,215,567 KM have been allocated. In 2020, 3,013,380 KM, for 2021, 1,866,465 KM, and in 2022, 2,335,722 KM.

Lawyer Omar Mehmedbašić was paid 1,119,462 KM for representation by official duty in the last three years.

Lawyer Zlatko Ibrišimović, who is suspected in a case being handled by the BiH Prosecutor's Office, received 506,280 KM in three years. Lawyer Dijana Hasić received 519,434 KM in three years, Muhidin Kapo 463,361 KM, Selman and Sead Zijadić 407,302 KM, Amir Hadžić 207,703 KM, Ahmet Fejzić 197,2014 KM, Izet Baždarević 165,716 KM, Džema Hasanagić Milaimi 163,492 KM, Rusmir Karkin 156,949, Almir Bibić 131,042 KM, Indira Karahodžić 129,013, Ifet Feraget 106,927 KM, Damir M. Kočo 106,790 KM, Kerim Čelik 105,535 KM, Senad Kreho 129,663 KM, Jasmin Džaferović and Jasmina Ifić 108,699 KM. 

Regarding the Municipal Court, the names of lawyers representing by official duty are repeated. In 2020, 2,039,350.42 KM was paid to 128 lawyers. In the last three years, lawyer Omar Mehmedbašić was paid 837,751 KM, Zlatko Ibrišimović is in second place with 386,675 KM, and Dijana Hasić is in third with 294,952 KM.

The largest individual amount in 2020 was received by Omar Mehmedbašić with 352,717 KM. Selman Zijadić received 134,586 KM, Dijana Hasić 128,687 KM, Muhidin Kapo 93,696 KM, Zlatko Ibrišimović 92,334 KM, Damir Kočo 47,589 KM, Indira Karahodžić 41,812 KM, Ahmet Fejzić 40,731 KM, Tarik Čingić received 40,277 KM...

In 2021, 117 lawyers acted by official duty. The largest amount went to Omar Mehmedbašić with 296,792 KM. Zlatko Ibrišimović received 168,479 KM, and Dijana Hasić 98,192 KM. Izet Baždarević 91,028 KM, Selman Zijadić 69,098 KM, Muhidin Kapo 69,029 KM, Indira Karahodžić 64,408 KM, Ahmet Fejzić 43,555 KM, Džema Hasanagić-Milaimi 41,786 KM.

Last year, 112 lawyers acted by official duty at the Municipal Court, for which 1,316,989 KM was paid.
