(Patria) - Penny plus d.o.o. Sarajevo is offering new jobs to former workers of the Geomet mine...
Yesterday, Geomet mine workers held a peaceful protest in front of the Olovo Municipality building.
Namely, employees of the Geomet lead mine in Olovo have been on forced annual leave since the beginning of this month.
Mine director Ismar Šabović says that from the beginning of next month, they will start implementing a technological surplus program. The mine is practically on the verge of closure, and all 200 employees could soon be out of work. The problem is the issuance, or rather, the renewal of the necessary environmental permits.
In light of the difficult situation faced by former workers of the Geomet mine in Olovo, the company Penny plus d.o.o. Sarajevo has decided to provide support and assistance to those who have lost their jobs. As part of its efforts to contribute to the local community, Penny plus announces that it can employ 50 able-bodied workers who have lost their jobs due to the mine's closure.
- We are particularly looking for construction workers, as we plan to build our own centers and expand our business. These new jobs will provide an opportunity for stable work and career development in a dynamic and growing company, Penny plus states.
"We want to help workers who have found themselves in a difficult situation and give them an opportunity for a new beginning. Our company is committed to the development of the local community, and we believe that we can work together to create new jobs," Penny plus d.o.o. Sarajevo states.
Penny plus thus appears as a beacon of hope for many who have lost their sources of income. This initiative provides an opportunity for employment and support for those affected by the current situation.
