Parisian Princes Rule Europe, Inter Knocked Out with Five Goals in Champions League Final

(Patria) - Paris Saint-Germain thrashed Inter Milan in the Champions League final in Munich, winning convincingly 5-0 and securing their first European championship title in the club's history.

PSG threatened for the first time in the 10th minute when Doue shot, but without major problems for Sommer. Just two minutes later, the Parisians took the lead – after a great play, Doue assisted Achraf Hakimi, who scored past his former club from close range for 1-0.

PSG continued their attacks and scored their second goal in the 20th minute. After a quick counter-attack, Dembele set up Doue, whose shot deflected off Dimarco, changed direction, and deceived Sommer for 2-0.

Inter tried to respond, but without success. In the 22nd minute, Acerbi headed over the goal after a corner, which was their first chance.

The Nerazzurri had their best opportunity in the 38th minute when Marcus Thuram headed just wide of the post after a corner. Towards the end of the first half, PSG could have scored a third goal. PSG could have scored a fourth goal earlier, but Barcola missed a clear chance from close range in the 70th minute. Just three minutes later, Kvaratskhelia made up for his earlier miss – he brilliantly escaped the Inter defense, went one-on-one with Sommer, and routinely scored for 4-0.

Towards the end of the match, in the 81st minute, Barcola squandered another great chance, but in the 87th minute, the fifth goal arrived – young Senny Mayulu scored for the final 5-0 and Inter's complete debacle.

With this victory, PSG won their first Champions League title in history, fully deserved, after dominating throughout the entire match.
