Open National Championship in Olympic Taekwondo with the Presence of the Sports Director of the European Taekwondo Union

(Patria) - In a great sports atmosphere, the National Championship in Olympic Taekwondo was ceremoniously opened, gathering over 600 competitors from 42 clubs across Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As part of this major sporting event, the first round of the Federation of BiH League is also being held, further confirming the significance and scope of the competition.

The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of numerous officials and prominent representatives of sports and public life. Samir Šarić, president of the Olympic Taekwondo Committee and member of the presidency, addressed the attendees. Loannis Mouroutsos, Sports Director of the European Taekwondo Union (ETU), also spoke. The championship was officially opened by Jelena Pekić, Deputy Speaker of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly.

Also present at the ceremony were Deputy Speaker of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly Danijela Kristić, member of the TKDS BiH presidency August Orlović, Vice-President of TKDS FBiH Branko Stanić, Brigadier of the Armed Forces of BiH Kemal Suljević, and the coach of the BiH national team in Olympic Taekwondo Haris Husić.

A special honor was the presence of Mr. Loannis Mouroutsos, who was ceremoniously presented with the official tracksuit of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team with his name on it, as a token of gratitude and respect.
