(Patria) - For the fourth consecutive year, all citizens and visitors of Ilidža will have the opportunity to enjoy ice skating and many other activities, after 'Winter in Ilidža' was officially opened tonight in Veliki Park.
In the presence of a large number of citizens, the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur, ceremoniously cut the ribbon, after which light decorations illuminated one of the most beautiful parks in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Ilidža Municipality has ensured that the 'Winter in Ilidža' activities are even richer this time, so all visitors to Veliki Park, in addition to ice skating, will be able to enjoy numerous music programs, gastronomic offerings, and activities of the Sarajevo Olympic Week project, with a special surprise being the pop-up content of the Sarajevo Light Festival, which is completely free.
- By listening to the wishes of our fellow citizens and all visitors to Veliki Park in previous winters, we have made an effort to enrich the ice rink with additional interesting activities where all generations will find something for themselves.
We are especially pleased that the pop-up installation of the Sarajevo Light Festival has found its place among the numerous activities of 'Winter in Ilidža', whose content is completely free for all who decide to visit Veliki Park, which not so long ago was unkempt and completely neglected, and today is one of the most beloved and most visited locations in Ilidža - said Mayor Muzur.
The Mayor also emphasized that Ilidža, as one of the most popular tourist destinations in our country, which is confirmed by official data, strives to further improve its tourist offer.
He pointed out that 'Winter in Ilidža' is just one step towards the further development and advancement of the tourist potentials that Ilidža has, and which will be the center of entertainment for all generations, domestic and foreign visitors this winter as well.
Use of the ice surface was free after the opening, while the prices for using the ice rink will be symbolic, and all visitors who do not have their own skates can rent them in Veliki Park. The ice rink will be open every day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
