(Patria) - Mali and English Tottenham midfielder Yves Bissouma (27) was the victim of a violent robbery on the night from Saturday to Sunday in Cannes.
Bissouma was attacked while returning from a party with his partner around 4 a.m.
Two men in hoodies attacked him in front of his car parked in front of the hotel.
The Malian tried to take cover in the car, but the attackers sprayed him with tear gas and stole his watch worth around 300,000 euros.
Police are still searching for the attackers, and Bissouma and his girlfriend escaped without injuries.
Bissouma has been playing for Tottenham since July 2022, and was also a member of Brighton and Lille.
