OPERATION AUSTRIA Dragons will have unprecedented support from the stands of the Ernst Happel stadium

(Patria) - After a night's sleep and the Dragons' celebration following a fantastic victory over Romania (3:1), coach Sergej Barbarez's team is turning its attention to Austria. A victory in that match brings direct qualification for the Dragons to the World Cup. And after eleven years, it would be a reward for a team that combines experience and youth, and which showed teamwork, discipline, and a desire to win last night in Zenica.

Our national team will have enormous support from the stands in Vienna on November 18th, and in addition to numerous Bosnians and Herzegovinians living in Austria, many BiH citizens are also arriving in the Austrian capital, already looking for extra tickets.

It is expected that at the Ernst Happel stadium, with a capacity of just over 50,000 seats, 30,000 will be supporting the Dragons.

Captain Edin Džeko scored his 72nd goal last night in Zenica and praised all the young players.

"The second half showed that we have quality. I looked at our lineup before the match – players aged 19, 20, 24... I'm 'a bit older', I'm spoiling their average, but that's the reality and that's great. Of course, there were mistakes, but that's the experience that such matches bring. We have to learn from those situations. The first half wasn't bad, but there were many lapses. We fell asleep on the conceded goal, we should have controlled that better. However, we showed character and gave our maximum in the second 45 minutes. The crowd support also lifted us a lot in the second half. Then Nikola forced a red card. I hope the coach is satisfied. We are working harder than ever, training hard and to the maximum. Mistakes are an integral part of the game and there will be more, but I am convinced that we will get better over time," said Džeko.
