(Patria) - The Novi Grad Municipality and the public company Lokom have organized Fan Zones with large LED screens for public viewing of World Cup matches, as well as matches of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
Fan zones are being set up at the plateau near the Dobrinja sports hall – Bulevar branilaca Dobrinje, Alipašino Polje – B phase – Trg ZAVNOBiH-a, SRC "Zlatno polje" – Naselje heroja Sokolje, and the Center for Education, Sports and Recreation "Safet Zajko".
The Novi Grad Sarajevo Municipality is the host of the largest fan and family zone, Urban Summer Fest 2026, a unique summer event that, during the FIFA World Cup, will offer Sarajevo citizens and visitors FIFA-licensed public match viewing, sports activities, family content, and a rich entertainment program outdoors. The location is near the RTV building.
From June 11 to July 19, it will be the central gathering place for sports, families, youth, and all citizens who want to experience the atmosphere of the biggest sporting event in the world in a unique festival setting.
We invite fans to bring their fan gear, wear jerseys, and in a fair and sportsmanlike atmosphere, support our Dragons together. Let us show unity and send the best fan image from our municipality, the Novi Grad Municipality announced.
