Odermatt wins giant slalom race on one of the toughest World Cup slopes

(Patria) - The best giant slalom skiers today competed in a super interesting race in Adelboden, Switzerland, and Marco Odermatt celebrated victory.

Loic Meillard was 20 hundredths behind Odermatt, while the third place went to Italian Luca Aliprandini (+0.69), who was the fastest in the second run, thus jumping from 12th to third place.

Norwegian Henrik Kristoferssen retired on one of the toughest giant slalom slopes in the world.

In the overall standings, Odermatt leads with 730 points, ahead of Kristoferssen (574), while Odermatt also leads the giant slalom standings (300).
