(Patria) - Bosnia and Herzegovina women's volleyball team wins in the European League after a big comeback

The women's volleyball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Lithuania 3:2 (28:30, 15:25, 25:9, 26:24, 15:11) after a big comeback in Sweden.

This is the first match of the second weekend of the European League.

Great drama was seen in the first set, where Lithuania led almost from start to finish, but missed the first two set points. Then Bosnia and Herzegovina missed one chance to win the set, and the Lithuanian women used the fourth set point for 30:28.

The second and third sets were very similar, except that in the second Lithuania dominated and won it 25:15 for 2:0, while Bosnia and Herzegovina was convincing in the third with 25:9.

Bosnia and Herzegovina led at the beginning of the fourth set 9:7, then the Lithuanian women turned it around to 14:11, followed by a series by Danilo Pejović's players for 20:15. The Lithuanian women managed to turn it around and reach match point, but Bosnia and Herzegovina defended and later used their set point for 26:24 and 2:2.

In the fifth set, Bosnia and Herzegovina led 7:4, then the opponents equalized at 8:8, but Bosnia and Herzegovina pulled away again and eventually celebrated with 15:11.

The most efficient was Jovana Biberdžić with 25 points, Iman Isanović had 22 points, on the other side Monika Salute had 23 points.
