From the 2025/2026 season, BiH league will have 10 clubs, Super Cup competition to be formed

(Patria) - Today, the 32nd session of the Executive Board of the FA/SF BiH was held in Sarajevo, chaired by President Vice Zeljković.

At today's session, the proposed Report on Work for 2023, the draft Work Plan of the FA/SF BiH for 2024, the Report on the Execution of the Revenue and Expenditure Plan of the FA/SF BiH for 2023, and the Revenue and Expenditure Plan of the FA/SF BiH for 2024 were adopted. All activities were carried out in order to prepare for the regular annual session of the General Assembly of the FA/SF BiH, which will be held on May 27, 2024, in Sarajevo.

The proposal for a decision to reduce the number of clubs in the WWIN BiH League from 12 to 10 clubs, starting from the 2025/2026 competitive season, was adopted, as well as the proposal for a decision to form a permanent competition called the FA/SF BiH Super Cup, starting from the 2024/25 competitive season. Within the FA/SF BiH Super Cup, one match will be played, between the winner of the WWIN BiH League and the winner of the BiH Cup from the previous competitive season.

At today's session, the Executive Board of the FA/SF BiH made a decision to increase the number of clubs in the Premier Youth League of BiH for 'U-19'. From the next competitive season, 2024/25, this league will have 16 clubs instead of 14.

Two new women's selections were also formed, 'WU-23' and 'WU-15'. The 'WU-23' national team will be managed by the coaches of the 'A' and 'WU-19' women's selections, as well as their assistants from the professional staff. Dragan Jevtić was appointed as the coach of the 'WU-15' women's selection. His assistants are Elma Basara, Amela Kršo, and Milorad Ilišković.

The new Rulebook on Referees and Refereeing of the FA/SF BiH was also adopted at today's session.
