List of Today's Highest-Paid Athletes Published, Cristiano Ronaldo at the Top

(Patria) - Forbes has traditionally published its annual list of the ten highest-paid athletes.

The list includes money earned on the field and from various sponsorship deals.

Cristiano Ronaldo remains at the top, having doubled last year's earnings and set to earn 260 million US dollars through 2024.

Besides Ronaldo, only golfer John Rahm will earn over 200 million. Lionel Messi is in third place.

It should be noted that basketball players Nikola Jokić (32nd place, 56.1 million dollars) and Luka Dončić (34th place, 55.1 million dollars) are among the top 50.
